Warranty
- Our Standard 2 year Warranty applies unless otherwise specified.
- Warranty is limited to original sale only. All other Standard Warranty conditions apply.
- Instruction visit: we can send a qualified person to help you with the operation of your appliance/s. Cost varies from $100.

and quote your name, contact number, the model of your appliance, the purchase date and invoice number.
Please note: Customers who purchased Hartmann product via eBay should specify "eBay buyer"
STANDARD WARRANTY
For 2 years from the time of purchase we will, if we believe your appliance has a manufacturing fault, come to your home in our service area and repair. This does not include instructions on operation [see Instruction Visit]. Our warranty is restricted to use of our products in normal domestic situations. It does not cover consequential work.
REPLACEMENT WARRANTY
Some products have a replacement warranty. If you have a problem with any of these models just return it to us and we will supply a replacement new or reconditioned unit if we judge the problem to be a manufacturing fault. If we do not have replacement stock we may elect to offer an alternative. If there is no alternative we may elect to offer a rebate based on length of time you have had the item in service. In some instances we may elect to supply the part required for you to fit. 2 years warranty, ceramic cooktops, chimney hoods, some promotional ovens. 1 year warranty, dryers. 3 months warranty, slide hoods.
CLEARANCE PRODUCTS WARRANTY
In some cases clearance products may be reduced to a level that means we cannot support a full warranty. This does not mean the product is unfit
for warranty but that the warranty cost is not built into the reduced
purchase price. In those cases the warranty for the specific product will be shown in the listing. Otherwise, normal warranty for the item will apply. All clearance sales are final.
ITEMS NOT WARRANTED
Any marks, scratches, dents, glass breakages that are not declared by us in the listing and/or are not registered by you within 48 hours of delivery. Normal wear & tear. Weathering.
SERVICE AREA
We
have service agents in all capital cities and most regional towns
throughout Australia. Should you be outside this area we can still send
an agent but you may need to cover the costs of travel or take the
appliance to our agent.
Other things you need to know:
In some cases where we are out of stock of a specified item we may elect to supply an equivalent item of another brand. This particularly applies to package buys and is due to the fact we are importers and can run out of stock while awaiting next shipment. If you do not want us to substitute you should advise us at time of purchase. All sales are final and we do not normally accept returns. In exceptional circumstances we may, at our discretion, agree to a return. In that case there is a re-stocking fee as we need to downgrade the returned item to clearance standard as we do not sell stock that has been previously shipped to a customer as new stock. This fee starts @ 25% of original sale price but may need to be higher if item/s are not in the same condition as shipped. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. A return authority is also required Damage is not an exceptional reason as we have a very low rate of damage over many years. You should always ensure, before buying, that your existing insurance will cover the possibility of damage.
